    Selling Liquid Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry equipment into various markets (Pharmaceutical, Food & Environmental, Health Science, Chemical Industry and Academia), the ideal candidate will thrive on winning and gains satisfaction from providing solutions that help customers be successful.

    This is a field based role that demands direct and frequent engagement with our own customers and potential new customers.

    Effective business development is integral to the success of this role. Strong sales skills are required to ensure that the sales process is managed and driven in a skilful, positive and energetic manner.

    Working both independently and as part of a team with the ability to manage resources in order to get things done efficiently and effectively is essential.

    Based in Brisbane, travel throughout Queensland and South Australia will be required.

    Responsabilités

    • Achieve/exceed budget for each quarter and full year
    • Drive new business growth and development
    • Manage installed base (Waters and competition)
    • Effective and efficient territory coverage
    • Maximise customer facing time, ensure commitments are fulfilled and exceed customer expectations
    • Maintain a high level of technical and application competence
    • Adapt to customer buying behaviour and profile
    • Feedback to Waters observations and experience with market trends and competitive landscape/reactions
    • Assist with demonstrations, trade shows, seminars and other company related activities
    • Follow processes and provide detail required to maximise outcomes when using the Australasian Solution Centre
    • Efficient management of CRM (contact, opportunity and activity management)

    Qualifications

    • Organic Chemistry or Biochemistry Degree (or equivalent)
    • Min 3 years cold face capital sales experience
    • Hands on application experience with chromatography and mass spectrometry
    • Proven track record of successfully working in a team
    • Excellent communication skills
