    The Market Development Manager’s primary focus is to develop business opportunities in  This is a pivotal role to grow Waters’ presence in the biomedical market by creating awareness in Asia Pacific region; as well as through delivering the appropriate application solutions which solve problems in the area.


    This candidate will work closely with both the corporate biomendical team and the respective Country’ biomedical specialist to implement our corporate biomedical strategy in the Asian countries; and at the same time collect the specific market requirements in respective geographies for further business opportunities.


    • Manage the biomedical business in the Asia pacific to achieve the defined annual target by collaborating with the respective country marketing specialist and sales managers
    • Execute the corporate strategy and its marketing initiatives by leading the respective country marketing specialists
    • Collaborate with respective country’s biomedical market specialist to understand our customer’s scientific challenges and business objectives and challenges in the region in order and provide the inputs to the corporate peers and Asia pacific senior MKT director on a regular basis
    • Collaborate with all the managers across Asia Pacific Waters Organization, such as with Product, Program/Project , Informatics, Service Support and Marketing Services on current/new products and solutions that will best meet customer’s business objectives




    • Bachelor Degree with minimum 7-8 years of experience in Science related field. Prefer Master Degree or Ph.D. degree in related field
    • Business development experience of the instrument for biomedical research, or the scientific(Mass Spectrometry) instrument business; Biomedical research experience in the related academia is advantage
    • Background knowledge on Separation Science and Mass Spectrometry is desirable
    • Possesses Commercial, Marketing or customer facing role experience
    • Experience in leading a team or managing a project task force, Experience in managing diverse team is advantag
    • Good command of written and spoken English, written and spoken Asian languages(Chinese, Korean, Japanese) is advantage
    • Rapport Building and networking skills with internal stakeholder/external customers
    • Willingness to travel 30% on the job
